Scope and Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern access to Casino and Friends Casino, the creation and use of a player account, real-money gambling, promotional participation, deposits, withdrawals and all related services. By registering an account, depositing funds or playing a game, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.

If you do not accept any provision, you must not register, deposit or use the gambling services. These Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Responsible Gambling Policy and the rules displayed for individual games and promotions.

Operator and Regulatory Information

The Casino and Friends gambling service for customers in Great Britain is operated by Skill On Net Limited, a company incorporated in Malta under company registration number C 50024. Its registered address is Office 1/5297, Level G, Quantum House, 75 Abate Rigord Street, Ta’ Xbiex, XBX 1120, Malta.

The operator’s current licence status can be checked in the Gambling Commission public register. Gambling services are provided subject to the Gambling Act 2005, applicable Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice, Remote Gambling and Software Technical Standards and relevant consumer protection legislation.

Eligibility and Territorial Restrictions

You may register and gamble only if you are at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a binding contract and located in a territory where the relevant service is lawfully available. Availability may be determined using your residential address, location information, payment details and other account data.

You must not use the service if:

  • you are under 18 years of age;
  • gambling is unlawful in the place where you are located;
  • you are subject to an active self-exclusion;
  • you are opening an account for another person;
  • you are acting on behalf of a business, syndicate or undisclosed third party;
  • you are prohibited from gambling because of your employment, contractual obligations or participation in an event connected with a relevant betting market;
  • the operator has previously closed your account and prohibited you from opening another one.

Attempts by an underage person to register or gamble will be investigated. The account may be suspended, relevant transactions may be made void where required by law, and the matter may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Registration and Player Accounts

You may hold only one personal Casino and Friends account. The account must be registered in your own legal name using accurate, complete and current information. You must not create duplicate accounts, share an account, sell access to it or allow another person to deposit, withdraw or gamble through it.

Registration information may include your full name, date of birth, residential address, email address, telephone number and other details reasonably required to establish your identity and eligibility. You must update your details promptly if they change.

You are responsible for protecting your password and account access information. Contact Casino and Friends immediately through the Contact Us page if you believe that your account has been accessed without permission. You remain responsible for activity authorised through your credentials unless the activity resulted from a failure by the operator to apply reasonable security measures.

Age, Identity and Financial Verification

Age and identity checks must be completed before you are permitted to gamble. Electronic databases may be used for this purpose. Where electronic verification is not sufficient, you may be asked to provide clear and valid documents such as a passport, driving licence, proof of address, payment evidence or information concerning the source of funds.

Additional checks may be carried out to:

  1. confirm your identity, age and residential address;
  2. establish that a payment method belongs to you or is lawfully available for your use;
  3. meet anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations;
  4. assess financial crime, fraud and safer gambling risks;
  5. confirm the source of funds or source of wealth where proportionate;
  6. identify sanctions exposure, politically exposed persons or adverse information;
  7. investigate unusual, inconsistent or suspicious activity.

Documents will not be requested at withdrawal if the same information could reasonably have been obtained earlier, except where a later request is necessary to meet a legal obligation, respond to new information or investigate a genuine risk. The account may be restricted while a necessary review is taking place.

Anti-Money Laundering Requirements

Casino and Friends must not be used to transfer, conceal, exchange or legitimise money. Deposits should be made for genuine gambling activity and must come from a payment method held in your name. Depositing with no meaningful play, repeatedly changing payment methods or attempting to withdraw to an unrelated account may trigger a review.

The operator may delay or refuse a transaction, suspend an account, request supporting information or report activity where this is required by the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Terrorism Act 2000, applicable money laundering regulations, sanctions rules or Gambling Commission requirements. Where the law restricts disclosure, the operator may be unable to explain the details of a review or report.

Deposits and Payment Methods

Available payment methods, transaction limits and any applicable processing information are displayed in the cashier. They may differ according to your location, account status and payment provider. Casino and Friends does not provide credit and does not accept gambling deposits made by credit card where prohibited by Gambling Commission rules.

You confirm that:

  • money deposited into your account belongs to you and comes from a lawful source;
  • you are authorised to use the selected payment method;
  • you will not initiate an unjustified chargeback or payment reversal;
  • you will not deposit money obtained through fraud, theft or other criminal conduct;
  • you will comply with any limits displayed before confirming the transaction.

A deposit may be rejected, reversed or held for review if it fails security checks, breaches payment rules or creates a reasonable concern about fraud, financial crime or safer gambling. Deposited money does not earn interest.

Customer Funds

Customer funds are held separately from the operator’s day-to-day business money in accordance with Gambling Commission requirements. The applicable customer-funds protection category and an explanation of what it means are disclosed when required, including where the level of protection changes.

Segregation offers a degree of protection but does not necessarily guarantee repayment of every balance if the operator becomes insolvent. You should consider the stated protection level before depositing money and avoid holding more in your account than you reasonably require for gambling.

Withdrawals

You may request withdrawal of cleared cash funds through the cashier, subject to necessary verification and legal checks. Bonus funds, pending rewards and amounts still subject to valid promotional conditions are not withdrawable unless the applicable promotion states otherwise.

Where reasonably possible, withdrawals are returned to the payment method used to deposit. Another verified method may be required where the original method does not support withdrawals or where regulatory, fraud-prevention or payment-network rules require an alternative.

Casino and Friends will not impose unnecessary withdrawal barriers, require additional wagering of deposited money as a general condition of withdrawal or encourage you to reverse a pending withdrawal. A withdrawal may be paused where there is a genuine legal, security or account-ownership concern. Any restriction must be proportionate to the issue being examined.

Account Balances and Transaction Errors

You should review your balance and transaction history regularly. If you believe that a deposit, wager, win or withdrawal has been recorded incorrectly, contact Casino and Friends without unreasonable delay and provide enough information for the transaction to be identified.

An obvious technical or settlement error does not create an entitlement to money or winnings that could not properly have arisen. Where an error is confirmed, the operator may correct the affected transaction and restore the account to the position that would have applied without the error. Corrections will be based on available system and game records and will not be used to remove legitimate winnings.

You must not knowingly exploit a software defect, incorrect price, game malfunction or payment error. Funds withdrawn as a direct result of deliberate exploitation may be recoverable through lawful means.

Game Rules and Gambling Activity

Every game is governed by its published rules, paytable and technical configuration. You should review this information before placing a wager. A wager is accepted only when it has been recorded by the gaming system. Merely clicking a control or experiencing a delay on your device does not prove acceptance.

Game outcomes are produced through approved systems, including certified random number generators where applicable. Return-to-player information, stake limits and other material rules are displayed within the relevant game or its information panel.

Account activityTreatment
Accepted wagerSettled under the published game rules
Interrupted gameCompleted, restored or refunded according to the game state and technical records
Confirmed system errorCorrected to the position that should reasonably have applied
Collusion or deliberate manipulationInvestigated and subject to proportionate account action
Legitimate winningsCredited to the player account and available subject to lawful checks

If a game is interrupted by a connection failure, closing the browser will not necessarily cancel a wager already accepted by the system. The authoritative record is the operator’s transaction log, except where reliable evidence shows that the record is incorrect.

Prohibited Conduct

You must use Casino and Friends honestly and for personal entertainment. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • collusion, syndicate play or coordinated activity intended to obtain an unfair advantage;
  • using bots, scripts, automated tools or unauthorised software;
  • interfering with games, servers, security systems or account controls;
  • using another person’s identity, account or payment method;
  • opening duplicate accounts to obtain additional promotions;
  • using a virtual private network or location tool to evade a lawful restriction;
  • providing false, altered or misleading verification documents;
  • conducting fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes;
  • threatening, abusive or unlawful communication with staff or other users;
  • attempting to bypass deposit limits, self-exclusion or other safer gambling controls.

Suspected misconduct will be investigated individually. The operator may restrict relevant transactions, suspend access, remove benefits obtained through a proven breach, close an account or report the matter to payment providers, regulators or law-enforcement authorities. Legitimate deposits and winnings will not be confiscated solely because the operator suspects wrongdoing. Account action must be supported by evidence and applied fairly.

Bonuses, Free Spins and Promotions

Participation in a promotion is optional. Every offer is governed by its displayed promotional terms, including eligibility, qualifying activity, validity period, game restrictions, wagering requirements and any limit on bonus-derived winnings. You must read those conditions before opting in or depositing for an offer.

Promotional terms form part of these Terms only for the relevant offer. If a specific promotional condition conflicts with a general provision, the specific condition applies to that promotion, provided it is lawful, fair and clearly communicated.

For customers in Great Britain, bonus wagering requirements will not exceed the regulatory limit applicable to the value of the bonus. A promotion will not combine different gambling products where such mixed-product incentives are prohibited. The operator may refuse or remove a reward where there is clear evidence of duplicate-account use, collusion, manipulation or deliberate bonus abuse, but restrictions will not be applied retrospectively to ordinary play that complied with the published terms.

Safer Gambling

Gambling should remain entertainment and should never be treated as a source of income. Casino and Friends provides safer gambling controls that may include deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion. Information about these tools is available in the Responsible Gambling Policy.

You may be asked to set a financial limit before or when making a first deposit and may be prompted periodically to review it. A request to reduce a limit should take effect promptly. An increase may be subject to a cooling-off period and additional confirmation.

The operator monitors account activity for indicators of gambling-related harm. Where appropriate, it may contact you, restrict deposits or play, apply limits, request information or close the account. These measures may be taken even if you have not requested them when intervention is reasonably necessary to protect you or meet regulatory duties.

Self-Exclusion

If you request self-exclusion, the account will be closed for gambling for the selected period and reasonable steps will be taken to prevent further access and direct gambling marketing. You must not attempt to circumvent a self-exclusion by creating another account or changing your personal details.

Customers in Great Britain can also register with GAMSTOP, the national multi-operator online self-exclusion scheme. Independent information and support are available from GamCare and GambleAware.

Account Suspension and Closure

You may request closure of your account through the available account controls or the Contact Us page. Ordinary account closure is different from self-exclusion. If gambling is causing concern, you should request self-exclusion so that the stronger protections apply.

The operator may suspend or close an account where:

  • the customer is ineligible to use the service;
  • required verification cannot be completed;
  • the account is connected with fraud, money laundering or unlawful conduct;
  • these Terms have been materially breached;
  • continued access presents a safer gambling risk;
  • closure is required by a regulator, court, payment provider or applicable law;
  • the relevant service is withdrawn from the customer’s jurisdiction.

Where legally permitted, the reason for closure and the treatment of the remaining balance will be communicated. A balance will not be forfeited merely because an account is closed. Legitimate cleared funds remain withdrawable after required checks, subject to deductions or recovery rights that are lawful, evidenced and directly connected to the breach.

Inactive Accounts

An account may be classified as inactive after an extended period without login or gambling activity. Before any inactivity charge is introduced or deducted, the applicable amount, timing and method of calculation must have been clearly disclosed and reasonable attempts must be made to contact you.

No inactivity charge will reduce an account below zero. You may request withdrawal of an inactive balance after completing any proportionate identity or security checks. Where required by law, unclaimed balances will be handled under the applicable regulatory and property rules.

Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is processed for account administration, identity verification, payments, fraud prevention, safer gambling, regulatory compliance, customer support and other purposes explained in the Privacy Policy.

Processing is carried out in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable privacy legislation. Information may be shared with identity-verification providers, payment companies, game suppliers, fraud-prevention services, regulators, professional advisers and public authorities where there is a lawful basis.

You may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your information, object to certain processing and obtain a portable copy of eligible data. Some records must be retained despite account closure where this is necessary for gambling regulation, anti-money laundering, taxation, fraud prevention or legal claims.

Marketing Preferences

Direct marketing choices are separate from acceptance of these Terms. You can select the gambling products and communication channels for which you wish to receive marketing and can change those preferences through the available account settings or contact options.

Withdrawal of marketing consent will not prevent essential service messages concerning security, verification, payments, responsible gambling or changes that materially affect your account. Marketing will not be sent while an applicable self-exclusion restriction is active.

Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

The website, software, graphics, text, trademarks, game interfaces and other protected material are owned by or licensed to the operator and its suppliers. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for lawful private gambling.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape or commercially exploit protected material except where applicable law expressly permits it. No intellectual property rights are transferred to you by registration or use of the service.

Service Availability

Reasonable efforts are made to keep the website and games available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, security incidents, supplier outages, communication failures or events outside reasonable control may temporarily affect the service.

The operator will deal fairly with unsettled wagers and balances following an interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility for failing to provide the service with reasonable care and skill where that responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.

Subject to those protections, the operator is not responsible for losses caused solely by your device, internet connection, unauthorised disclosure of credentials, unlawful use of the service or failure to follow clear security instructions. Any limitation will be applied only to the extent that it is lawful, fair and proportionate.

You remain responsible for deciding whether to gamble, selecting stakes and using available control tools. This does not reduce the operator’s regulatory responsibilities to monitor risk, interact with customers and provide appropriate safer gambling protections.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with a transaction, account decision or service, submit a complaint through the Contact Us page. Include your account details, a concise description of the issue, relevant transaction references and the outcome you are seeking.

The complaint will be acknowledged, investigated and handled through the operator’s internal complaints procedure. If it is not resolved within eight weeks, or if the internal process ends in deadlock, you will receive information about referring the gambling dispute to the approved alternative dispute resolution provider designated for the service.

The Gambling Commission regulates operators but does not normally decide individual disputes about gambling transactions. Information about making a complaint is available at gamblingcommission.gov.uk. Referring a dispute to an alternative dispute resolution provider does not remove any statutory right to bring a claim before a court.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be changed to reflect legislation, regulatory instructions, security requirements, service changes or improvements in clarity. A change will not be used to alter the result of a wager already settled or remove a right that has already arisen.

Material changes will be communicated in a clear and timely manner before they take effect where required. If a change requires your active acceptance, access to relevant services may be restricted until that acceptance is provided. If you do not agree with a material change, you may stop using the service and request withdrawal of your cleared balance.

Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the gambling service supplied to you and, for customers in Great Britain, by the mandatory protections of UK gambling and consumer law. No choice-of-law provision can remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may bring proceedings in the courts that have jurisdiction where you live. If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, it will be adjusted or removed only to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Contact Casino and Friends

Questions about these Terms, account access, payments, safer gambling or complaints can be submitted through the Casino and Friends Contact Us page. For security reasons, account-specific requests may require identity confirmation before information or funds can be released.
